Esprit’s response to COVID-19

Dear Residents, Family Members & Team Members,

After almost a year, we still continue to navigate these uncertain times.  It has been a very emotional and frustrating time for many Canadians, as a country we have had to adjust to direction released through government and regulatory authorities, many having to postpone milestone events and adapting to the “new normal”.

In the next few weeks as our provinces loosen pandemic restrictions, our team will continue to work with local Public Health and Regulatory Authorities to ensure we continue to review and communicate these changes to you. As always, the safety and well-being of our residents and team members will remain a priority, as such Esprit will continue to conduct regular surveillance testing of staff, continue with enhanced disinfecting and cleaning, and screen all team members, visitors and residents. Lastly, we will continue to monitor vaccination rates with team members and residents.

We have always believed that our team members are the true superheroes, having to experience this pandemic professionally and personally. The unwavering dedication I saw at our Esprit Lifestyle Communities was next to none. I am so proud of our communities!

To our residents and family members, who supported our locations across Canada, saying thank you is not enough. You walked beside us every step of the way because that is what family does for each other.
