Director Marketing and Resident Experience

Reporting to the Senior Director, Esprit Lifestyle Communities, the Director of Marketing and Resident Experience is accountable for developing marketing strategies and brand standards for the Esprit Brand including planning and managing all advertising channels, building content that create value add and position Esprit as a retirement community of choice.

 Accountabilities

  • Develop marketing strategies including media planning, buying and the development of creative to acquire and retain customers
  • Develop Esprit brand standards for owned and managed retirements communities
  • Further develop the support experience programs (housekeeping, laundry, dining): create brand and experience standards and corresponding programs to enhance service delivery,
  • Create and implement standardized customer service guidelines, develop and launch training and ensure adherence to experience standards across all retirement communities
  • Track assess and report on competitor activity and programs. Recommend marketing and experience initiatives to effectively compete
  • Implement systems to identify, analyze, report on, build and action process improvement
  • Collaborate with sales and operations team to identify revenue opportunities across Esprit
  • Participate in the design of new and existing retirement community builds

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business administration or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in marketing and customer experience preferably in Hospitality or Retirement Living
  • Successful track record of leading, implementing, and executing complex projects
  • Proven data analysis and interpretation
  • Proven ability to negotiate, resolve conflict, and build consensus
  • Committed to superior customer experience
  • Highly motivated and passionate about senior living
  • Ability to travel within Canada as required
