Community is about staying connected to family, friends and the world beyond your door.
Few things matter more to our well-being than a sense of belonging. Feeling connected to family. Enjoying the companionship of friends. Embracing the community.
At Riverbend Crossing, the dedicated and caring staff is specially trained to support residents and encourage them to remain engaged with others and the world around them. The Connections Program focuses on purposeful and meaningful activities that allow residents to enjoy their environment regardless of the degree of memory loss.
A full calendar of activities keeps everyone busy and engaged.
Regular, meaningful and engaging activities for residents are essential to enjoying life. Planning and executing it all certainly keeps our Life Enrichment Coordinator on her toes but she wouldn’t have it any other way. We always work a month ahead so you can plan your own calendar and co-ordinate visits. The calendar includes:
- Specialized fitness programs
- Workshops and educational speakers
- Creative writing, painting and crafting classes
- Enhanced memory activities and programs to stimulate residents and keep them engaged.

Fresh food, made right at home.
Dining at Riverbend Crossing is a special experience. The Chef and the dining team work hard to provide residents with great choices, flavour and nutrition every time they sit down to eat. We use the freshest produce and change the menu regularly to ensure selection and variety.
If you have special diet restrictions, allergies or individual needs, talk with the team – we can usually customize to your needs.
