Michael’s Story

My name is Michael, and I am a resident assistant at Riverbend Crossing. I also perform violin with the Regina Symphony, and play piano for Whitmore Park United Church. When not working, I am training to become a registered nurse at the University of Regina. My previous university training was music-related, as I received a Masters of Music at the University of Ottawa. Here at Riverbend Crossing, it is a delight to perform piano and violin for the residents. I believe that music is a meaningful way of providing people with joy, and an improved quality of life. It is very rewarding to see their smiles, and receive their compliments following a performance.  I look forward to continuing to perform for the residents in their home.
