Reminiscing at Georgian Bay

My husband and I used to vacation in Texas every year during the winter months (we are from Georgian Bay so it was always lovely to escape the snow). While in Texas, we would regularly cross the border into Mexico, specifically Nuevo Progresso. One year, my husband surprised me by having a street artist recreate a photo overlooking Georgian Bay from our porch. Back then the artists didn’t have brushes so they used plastic bags to create their paintings. It was gorgeous. Since then, the view has changed a bit, but not much. Every time I look at that painting I think of my husband and our home we shared and the memories we made.
