The Story of Dianne

I have worked as a Registered Nurse for 33 years. For me, nursing has been the most rewarding, diverse and flexible career. I chose critical care nursing for most of my career. Working in critical care, my nursing skills needed to be sharp and critical thinking every minute on the job. After working as a critical nurse, I changed my focus to become a nursing supervisor and then a nurse manager working in long term care.

Nursing has been a very rewarding career for me as I still continue to work in management in a personal care home providing care and compassion to ensure quality of care and quality of life for older adults.
